Apart from the rich text editor available for a Text page, Goodies can also be added from the Website Manager itself.
Additional Informatione
Adding Goodies from the rich text editor
1.Login to your Control Panel. 1
2.Proceed to the Website Designer Admin Area. 2
3.Click the Goodies & Addons link in the general Website Manager settings.

4.This will then bring up a page displaying a list of Goodies. Click the icon corresponding to the Goodie that you wish to add to your website, customise and submit the data.

5.You will be then presented a list of pages to choose from. Simply click the page name and then confirm, to have the Goodie added to it.

6.You need to select a location within the page where you wish to have the Goodie inserted.

If you wish to relocate the Goodie within the page, you can drag and drop the Goodie icon wherever you need.
Note
Goodies can be added only to Text pages.
Goodies
The following Goodies are currently available with the Website Builder:
Note
The Hit Counter, Current Date Time Stamp and Last Modified Date Time Stamp Goodies are available under all the Website Builder packages. All other Goodies are available under all packages except the Online Brochure package.
General Goodies
Hit Counter
To add a Hit Counter to your web page to automatically count the number of visitors to your website, click the Hit Counter icon on the Goodies page.

Then set a value in the Set/Reset the counter field, select any one of the available attractive Hit Counter styles from the list available and click SUBMIT.

Now your Rich Text Editor will display the Hit Counter icon. This confirms that the Hit Counter has been enabled as part of your website. You can later edit the settings by clicking the Hit Counter icon in the Rich Text Editor and then the Edit link. The actual Hit Counter will appear on your final website once you submit this page, accept all changes to the design and PUBLISH it to your live website.
If not required, you may remove the Hit Counter by clicking the Hit Counter icon in the Rich Text Editor and then clicking the Remove link.
Google Analytics Code
To track user traffic on your website using the tools in your Google Analytics account, click the Google Analytical Code icon on the Goodies page.

Copy the Tracking Code from your Google Analytics account, paste in the box provided and then click SUBMIT. If you do not have a Google Analytics account, you can sign up for one by clicking the New to Google Analytics? Sign Up >> link. The Tracking Code will be added to all pages of your website.

Password-Protect Pages
Clicking the Password Protect icon on the Goodies page allows you to Password-Protect pages in your website.

Provide the password, re-enter it and then click SUBMIT to Password-Protect your entire website with this password. Clicking the REMOVE PASSWORD button will disable the Password Protection for your entire website.

If you wish to Password-Protect selected pages, click the Click here to password-protect individual web pages link.

Here, you can Password-Protect desired pages created in the website and also reset or remove the Password.
YouTube Videos
To inset YouTube videos in your web page, please click the YouTube icon in the Goodies page.

Provide the YouTube Video URL and then click SUBMIT. You can also set options such as Include border around YouTube video, Include title, Align and Wrap Text, after selecting the Advanced options checkbox

You can later edit the settings by clicking the YouTube video in the Rich Text Editor and then the Edit link.
If not required, you may remove the YouTube video by clicking it in the Rich Text Editor and then clicking the Remove link.
Google News
To add the latest international news snippets covering diverse topics on your web page, please click the Google News icon in the Goodies page.

Mention a Heading for the news section, No. of news items to be displayed, Width of the News Area and then click SUBMIT. You can also choose a text and a background color for the news area on your website.

Once you submit, your Rich Text Editor will display a News icon. This indicates that the News area has been inserted as part of the website. You can later edit the settings by clicking the Google News icon in the Rich Text Editor and then the Edit link. The actual News snippets will appear on your final website once you submit this page, accept all changes to the design and PUBLISH it to your live website.
If not required, you may remove Google News by clicking the Google News icon in the Rich Text Editor and then clicking the Remove link.
Google Search
To add a Google Search box in your web page, please click the Google Search icon in the Goodies page.

Then click YES to confirm that you want to add a Google Search box to your web page.

Once you submit, your Rich Text Editor will display the Google Search box. This confirms that Google Search has been enabled as part of the website. The actual Google Search box will appear on your final website once you submit this page, accept all changes to the design and PUBLISH it to your live website.
If not required, you may remove Google News by clicking the Google Search icon in the Rich Text Editor and then clicking the Remove link.
Language Translation
To allow your website visitors to translate the entire content of your web page to any of the popular languages, click the Language Translation icon in the Goodies page.

Then click YES to confirm that you want to add a Language Translation feature to your web page.

Once you submit, your Rich Text Editor will display the Language Translation icon from Altavista's Babel Fish. This confirms that Language Translation has been enabled as part of your website. The actual Language Translation icon will appear on your final website once you submit this page, accept all changes to the design and PUBLISH it to your live website.
If not required, you may remove the Language Translation feature by clicking the Language Translation icon in the Rich Text Editor and then clicking the Remove link.
Search Engine Optimization
To optimize your website for Search Engines, click the Search Engine Optimization icon in the Goodies page.

The above page allows you to provide meta-tags; titles, descriptions and keywords for each page on your website in order for Search Engines to locate and index your website easily and efficiently. Also, you can submit your webpage to the top search engine like Google, Yahoo, Live.com using the links provide in this page.

Note
The details you enter here can not be seen on your website. It is only for the purpose of optimizing your site for better results during searches.
Add Banner
To add a Banner, click the Add Banner icon in the Goodies page.

Here, enter any code like AdSense, etc. to placed on top of the page as well as at the bottom of the page and then click SUBMIT

You can now preview how the banner is displayed on your webpage. You may publish the same to your website by clicking APPROVE or make changes to the banner after clicking EDIT. The banner will be included in all pages of your website.
Advertising Goodies
Google Adsense
To enable Google Adsense, click the Google Adsense icon in the Goodies page.

Copy the Adsense Code from your Google Adsense Control Panel, paste in the box provided and then click SUBMIT. If you do not have a Google Adsense account, you can sign up for one by clicking the New to Adsense? Sign Up >> link. The Code will be added to all pages of your website. The Tracking Code will be added to all pages of your website. This goodie is used to display Google advertisements and earn an additional income to you.

Date and Time Goodies
Current Date & Time Stamp
To add the Current Date & Time Stamp on your web page, just click the Current Date and Time Stamp icon on the Goodies page.

Then choose a Date/Time format from the available options and click SUBMIT. The format that you choose here will be used to display the current date and time when your visitor will be on your website.

Once you submit, your Rich Text Editor will display the Current Date & Time Stamp icon. This indicates that Current Date & Time Stamp has been enabled as part of the website. You can later edit the settings by clicking the Current Date Time Stamp in the Rich Text Editor and then the Edit link. The actual current date and time details will appear on your final website once you submit this page, accept all changes to the design and PUBLISH to your live website.
If not required, you may remove the Current Date Time Stamp by clicking it in the Rich Text Editor and then clicking the Remove link.
Last Modified Date and Time Stamp
To add the Last Modified Date and Time Stamp on your web page, just click the Last Modified Date and Time Stamp icon on the Goodies page.

Then choose a Date/Time format and a Time Zone from the available options and click SUBMIT. The format that you choose here will be used to display the current date and time when your visitor will be on your website.

Once you submit, your Rich Text Editor will display the Last Modified Stamp icon. This indicates that Last Modified Stamp has been enabled a s part of the website. You can later edit the settings by clicking the Last Modified Date and Time Stamp in the Rich Text Editor and then the Edit link. The actual Last Modified date and time details will appear on your final website once you submit this page, accept all changes to the design and PUBLISH to your live website.
If not required, you may remove the Last Modified Date and Time Stamp by clicking it in the Rich Text Editor and then clicking the Remove link.
Calender
To add a Calender to your web page, just click the Calender icon on the Goodies page.

Then provide your Yahoo! User ID and click SUBMIT.
Note
This calendar is associated with a Yahoo! calendar and you need to have a Yahoo! account for enabling this Goodie.

Once you submit, your Rich Text Editor will display a Calendar icon. This indicates that a Calendar has been inserted as part of your website. You can later edit the settings by clicking the Calender in the Rich Text Editor and then the Edit link. The actual Calendar will appear on your final website once you submit this page, accept all changes to the design and PUBLISH it to your live website.
If not required, you may remove the Calender by clicking it in the Rich Text Editor and then clicking the Remove link.
Payment Goodies
PayPal
To add a PayPal Goodie on your web page, just click the PayPal icon on the Goodies page.

Specify your PayPal A/c Email, Item Name, Item Number, Amount, Currency Code and the Link Type. Then click SUBMIT. If you do not have a PayPal account, you can also sign up for the same, through the New to PayPal? Sign Up >> link.

You can later edit the settings by clicking the PayPal Goodie in the Rich Text Editor and then the Edit link.
If not required, you may remove the PayPal Goodie by clicking it in the Rich Text Editor and then clicking the Remove link.
Google Checkout
To add a Google Checkout Goodie on your web page, just click the Google Checkout icon on the Goodies page.

Specify your Merchant ID, Item Name, Item Description, Item Price, Quantity Sold, Currency Code and the Link Type. Then click SUBMIT. If you do not have a Google Checkout account, you can also sign up for the same, through the New to Google Checkout? Sign Up >> link.

You can later edit the settings by clicking the Google Checkout Goodie in the Rich Text Editor and then the Edit link
If not required, you may remove the Google Checkout Goodie by clicking it in the Rich Text Editor and then clicking the Remove link.
Location Goodies
Map
To add a map of a specific location to your web page, just click the Map icon on the Goodies page.
Map Icon
Fill in the address or intersection of the location and also the city, state & zip code of the location. Then click SUBMIT.

Once you submit, your Rich Text Editor will display a Maps icon. This indicates that a map has been inserted as part of the website. You can later edit the settings by clicking the Map in the Rich Text Editor and then the Edit link. The actual map of the location will appear on your final website once you submit this page, accept all changes to the design and PUBLISH it to your live website.
If not required, you may remove the Map by clicking it in the Rich Text Editor and then clicking the Remove link.
Driving Directions
To enable your visitors to query and view the driving directions to reach a specific location (your office, home, etc.) on your web page, click the Driving Directions icon on the Goodies page.

Fill in the Address or Intersection of the Destination and City, State & Zip Code of the Destination. You may also choose a template color that will be used to display the actual driving directions on your website. Then click SUBMIT.

Once you submit, your rich text editor will display a Driving Directions box. This indicates that the Driving Directions feature has been inserted as part of the website. You can later edit the settings by clicking the Driving Directions box in the Rich Text Editor and then the Edit link. The actual Driving Directions request box will appear on your final website once you submit this page, accept all changes to the design and PUBLISH it to your live website. Your visitors can then type in their location and view the driving directions map.
If not required, you may remove the Driving Directions box by clicking it in the Rich Text Editor and then clicking the Remove link.
Design/Layout Go odies
Embed iFrame Window
To enable IFrame in your website, click the Embed iFrame icon on the Goodies page.

Provide the URL that you want to display within your website, in the URL section. Specify other IFrame options ( Width, Height, Scrolling and Border ) and click SUBMIT.

You can later edit the settings by clicking the iFrame in the Rich Text Editor and then the Edit link.
If not required, you may remove the iFrame by clicking it in the Rich Text Editor and then clicking the Remove link.
hCard
To enable hCard, just click the hCard icon on the Goodies page.

Feed in the necessary information and click SUBMIT.

This Goodie will enable software (such as Microsoft Outlook) on the computer of the website visitor to automatically read and store your contact information specified above. You can later edit the settings by clicking the hCard in the Rich Text Editor and then the Edit link.
If not required, you may remove the hCard by clicking it in the Rich Text Editor and then clicking the Remove link.
Yahoo! Presence
To add a Yahoo! Presence indicator on your web page, click the Yahoo! Presence icon on the Goodies page.

Then enter your Yahoo! ID, choose a Yahoo! Presence Icon from the available options and click SUBMIT. The icon that you choose here will be displayed on your web page when you are signed into Yahoo! Services online.

Once you submit, your Rich Text Editor will display the Yahoo! Presence icon. This indicates that Yahoo! Presence indicator has been enabled as part of the website. You can later edit the settings by clicking the Yahoo! Presence icon in the Rich Text Editor and then the Edit link. The actual icon will appear on your final website once you submit this page, accept all changes to the design and PUBLISH it to your live website.
If not required, you may remove the Yahoo! Presence icon by clicking it in the Rich Text Editor and then clicking the Remove link.
Mailing List
To create a complete mailing list of visitors on your website, click the Mailing List icon on the Goodies page.

Then select an attractive template color for your Join Mailing List box from the list available and click SUBMIT.

Once you submit, your Rich Text Editor will display a Join Mailing List icon. This indicates that the Join Mailing List box has been inserted as part of the website. The actual Join Mailing List module will appear on your final website once you submit this page, accept all changes to the design, and PUBLISH it to your live website.
If not required, you may remove the Join Mailing List box by clicking it in the Rich Text Editor and then clicking the Remove link.
Tell A Friend
To add a link to your web page, which allows your visitors to recommend your website to their friends,, click the Tell a Friend icon on the Goodies page.

Then click YES to confirm that you want to add a Tell a Friend box to your web page.

Once you submit, your Rich Text Editor will display a Tell a Friend icon. This indicates that the Tell a Friend feature has been inserted as part of the website. The actual Tell a Friend box will appear on your final website once you submit this page, accept all changes to the design and PUBLISH it to your live website. Your visitors can then type in their friend's email address to recommend your website to them.
If not required, you may remove the Tell a Friend box by clicking it in the Rich Text Editor and then clicking the Remove link.
